  • Zika virus is a virus transmitted through Egyptian forests and mosquitoes. It was first discovered in Uganda in 1947 by a rhesus monkey. Humans were infected in Uganda and Tanzania in 1952. The symptoms of Zika virus infection are summarized as follows. When infected with the Zika virus, symptoms such as fever, skin rashes, conjunctivitis, muscle and joint pain, boredom, and headache appear for 2 to 7 days. Symptoms are light, and there are cases where the infection is passed without knowing, and the mortality rate is low. However, if there is no preventive vaccine or treatment, treatment should be done in a way that gives you enough rest. If infected, one should drink water frequently to prevent dehydration, and sometimes use general medicines such as fever reducer to relieve fever or pain.
