COVID-19 disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 is a new respiratory infectious disease and was declared "pandemic" by the World Health Organization (WHO) in March 2020. Symptoms of the epidemic vary, but are mainly fatigue, high fever, and cough, and in more severe cases, breathing problems and severe lung damage. Although molecular diagnosis (genetic testing) is a standard diagnostic method for COVID-19, rapid antigen testing, which is easy to use, convenient, and field-testable, is widely used in many advanced countries, including the United States, Japan, and Europe.
